I. Position and Function:
The Department of Science, Technology, and Development Cooperation is a unit of the University.
It advises the Rector on matters related to scientific research activities, domestic cooperation, and international cooperation at the University.
II. Duties:
- Develop plans and implement scientific research activities, as well as apply the results of research at the University;
- Receive, implement, monitor, manage the execution, and organize the evaluation of research projects at various levels led by the University or carried out by its staff and employees;
- Transfer the University's research results to organizations and individuals outside the University;
- Receive and propose the establishment of a review committee for international publications by the University's staff, employees, and students;
- Organize scientific seminars and conferences at the University level and above, and manage the execution of seminars and conferences within the University; summarize and propose rewards for scientific research work at the University;
- Coordinate with the Student Union to organize and manage research activities for students; organize and manage student academic competitions led by the University; propose and manage student participation in academic competitions outside the University;
- Lead the creation of budgets and implement the budget for scientific research activities for staff, employees, and students;
- Manage, oversee, and organize the implementation of international cooperation projects in scientific research and training;
- Develop and organize the implementation of domestic and international cooperation plans and programs;
- Organize meetings between the Rector and domestic and foreign organizations or individuals (excluding activities related to scholarships and employment for students); coordinate the signing of cooperation agreements with domestic and international organizations; manage and implement these agreements;
- Handle procedures and manage outbound and inbound delegations; manage procedures for staff, employees, and students traveling abroad for conferences, scientific meetings, or short-term training;
- Manage information, documents, and records related to scientific activities, domestic and international cooperation; perform reporting and statistics in accordance with legal regulations and University requirements;
- Compile and report data according to the department’s functions and send it to the Database and IT Department for centralized management;
- Update and review documents related to the department’s activities;
- Assist the University’s Science and Training Council;
- Carry out other tasks related to scientific research activities and domestic and international cooperation as directed by the Rector.
